Word of the day..passenger

The first thing that comes to mind for me when I think of the word passenger is that we are all just passengers on this earthly ride.When you put it in those terms the next thing you want to address as a “passenger “is who is in control of your destination. We as Christians know that we should always seek God’s will for our lives and that He is ultimately in control.Its not always easy.If you’re like me I’m sure there are many times during the day ..week .month …year.. that we try to take the wheel and drive ourselves thinking  we know what’s best and telling the Lord that we got this .What happens next most of the time is we find ourselves back on our knees telling the Lord we are sorry and please get us out of this mess that we have gotten into however innocent the situation may be.The good news is this….He understands and is always forgiving and full of grace and mecy!!!!God knows us as human beings and even better He knows you.The Bible says that He knew you in the womb and that even the hairs of your head are numbered. That’s pretty awesome!!!!Now although we need to let God be God and lead us and guide us He did give us a road map to follow so we are not surprised when as passengers we reach our destination. The BIBLE…THE WORD OF GOD…The Bible says that the Word is God …so what better way to understand your driver and all the reasons as to why He is taking you where your going than to read all about  it.God says ..the Bible is a lamp unto my feet and a light into my path…and God knows we can all use that.So as passengers on this earthly ride and as children of the MOST HIGH GOD we can all rest assured that although the ride might not always be smooth..in the end we will arrive safe and sound if we just be the passengers and let God do the driving .Troy
